Brigid was born in Washington D.C. but lives and works in England. She has exhibited her work all over the world and was invited to be part of the Florence Biennale 2003. Her paintings have recently been on tour through Europe and America. She has painted portraits of the Queen Mother, the Dalai Lama and Cecil Lewis, founder of the BBC. Her portrait of Lord Longford was recently purchased by the House of Lords. Her portrait of J.G.Ballard hangs in the National Portrait Gallery.
