Oil on board or canvas

My influences are very diverse. They have been my imagination connected to such things as comic art, surrealism, celestial phenomena and real life. My art is not meticulously planned; it is just me putting what is inside me on to canvas. Sometimes I wonder who is inspiring me to do the art I do, whether it is God or some other higher power (I like to think that) or is it just my natural inclination.

Lee J Banham

I have had an illness in the past but have gotten over it and now I do art as a pass time and vocation. I am very interested in fantasy art and the beauty of nature as can be seen in my work. I think that a painting should grab a person's imagination and put over some kind of feeling; a good feeling preferably!
