New Artist's Referral Scheme
OakappleArt will now pay £50 for each new referral who successfully signs up with us! So joining the OakappleArt community can be cheaper or even free if you successfully refer other artists to us. This is also open to members of the public and art buyers. To claim, just email us at info@oakappleart.com with your details and the name of the artist who you have referred and ask them to name you as their referrer when they sign up with us and we will send you a cheque for £50 once the artist has paid their fee in full.
Legal notice: Referral payments are at the sole discretion of c4c Limited and their decision is final.

Under New Management
c4c Limited, a Midlands based marketing company with connections in the South West, have acquired the rights to develop and market the Oakapple Art website. This leaves Oakapple Limited free to develop and service it's excellent printing business. Jodieanne English, Managing Director of Oakapple said "The two businesses complement each other perfectly and this move will result in an improved service to both artists and customers." David Cowburn, Director said that "c4c aims to develop a wider community of artists thus providing a better choice for customers and increased sales of both originals and prints".

The
Oakapple Art Live 2006 exhibition opened at the St. Ives
Theatre on Saturday 15th April to a stunning display of
all types of art! Artists came from as far afield as New
Zealand, USA, Lyme Regis and Cheshire not forgetting our
Cornish talent here at home!

Our flash movie to promote awareness of the plight of the Brazilian
children is now on the official Brian May website. We take this opportunity
to thank the Brian May team for their support of this venture. Limited
edition prints of Brian are already selling, the proceeds going towards
helping the children of Brazil!

Portrait of Brian May for the children of Brasil
The ABC Trust has
provided Oakapple Art with a licensed picture of Brian
May which Oakapple Art has digitally divided up into segments.
Each segment has been given to twelve Oakapple Art Artists. A signed
limited edition will be auctioned off by Cooper
Owen Auctioneers in April of 2006 (date to be announced.) All of
the profits received on the sale of this print will be donated to ABC
Trust. This project will expand to include exhibitions and promotions
to further sales of this limited edition run to provide added funding
for the children of Brazil.

Live! Exhibition a success!
OakappleArt Live! 2005 was our debut exhibition held at the Guildhall
in St. Ives, Cornwall September 2,3 & 4th. 35 of our artists and
photographers exhibited for three intense days and evenings, allowing
the public to personally meet with them and see their work first hand.
Friday night featured preferred customers invited by our local artists.
Saturday night was our Art Trade Night, especially geared toward galleries
and fellow artists. The finale was our Sunday Gala Evening featuring
the talented musicians Tom and Mike Quirke and culminating in an exciting
Prize Draw of over 25 original pieces of art! Well Done All and thank
you for making this an exhibition St. Ives will remember!
